Welcome

Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.

I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!

Thank you for visiting my blog.

Stocking Filler Potion

If you could make any wish, what would it be?  Perhaps we could find a potion for it?  This tag from the Advent Countdown Tag Book seems to offer all sorts of wishes but I think I know what wish most of us would make this year.

Dachshound through the snow!  Too soon for the Christmas cracker jokes?  Today's face masks feature the very popular small dog, the dachshound, in smart seasonal attire, on a biscuit coloured background.

Last night, our elf friends, Louis and Daisy, decided to read bedtime stories to the toys.

They bought along some new books for the children to read today but not before the toys had a preview.

Let's have a look at what they are reading - How to Catch Santa.  I am not sure that is a very suitable book.  They can be very naughty elves!

On the other side of town Daisy has been very busy getting everything ready for a special treat.

Everyone has a new maching mug full of goodies, even mummy and daddy have one each.

And just look at all of those tiny games, have you ever seen so many in one place?  Anyone facy a game of Snakes and Ladders?

Wow, just look at Daisy's flash car.  Very nice.

Actually, today would be the perfect day to settle down with a mug of hot chocolate and a lovely Christmas film.  Enjoy yourself.

  1. That is one fancy car! Love all the tiny games and those mugs with treats. I wonder which film they chose?! Love the dachshund print - Jess would adore a mask like that. xxx

    1. I have heard a rumor that the flash car is actually a Barbie car, presumably Daisy picked it up second hand. Still it is a very flash car.

I missed them before but I have just spotted the little Brussel Sprout creatues in the first Louis and Coco photo - they are sooo cute!

The big day is nearly here, have a fabulous day tomorrow - get Mr Beez under the mistletoe and give him a kiss on the cheek from me!

      Merry Christmas!
