Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.


I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!

Nose Glow

This morning I had a little surprize when I turned over the tag in my Advent Countdown.  A tiny red gem, perfectly positioned right where Rudolf's nose should be!  Also perfect to advertise Rudolf's Nose Glow, is that something you might like for Christmas?


In today's Advent Santa Sacks two lucky people will be receiving face masks with a penguin motif.  The fabric has a dove grey background with images of penguins skiing.


Our elf chums were busy last night, Louis and Coco bought the game of draughts (checkers) to leave for the children to play.  That takes me back, I probably have not played draughts since I was a teenager at the local youth club!


Whilst Daisy seems to be playing musical hats ............


Can you see which hat she is wearing?  The big ears may be a give away!


That is it for another day, sadly it will not be long before the elves have to return to the North Pole, I shall miss them.

    I did miss this! So glad I didn't. That tiny draughts set is incredible. I'm going to miss these guys too together with all your beautiful masks. X
