Welcome

Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.

I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!

Thank you for visiting my blog.

Falalala Falala

As you probably know by now, I was very late making my Christmas cards this year and, in order to get any cards made at all, I bought some of Hunkydory Crafts' wonderful matching toppers and designer papers.  I just added some bits and bobs from my stash to come up with my own unique designs.  In order to keep each post manageable I decided the post a few cards every day and is taking a while.

I should also apologise, these cards have a highly reflective surface and I had to turn then away from the camera in order to avoid the worst of the glare off the flash.

  1. These are gorgeous. I love the black and red contrast with the polar bear. Llamas and sloths seem to be very on trend right now. The expression on the llamas face is hilarious! It's snowing here this morning and settling too. xxx

    1. I love the idea if a Llama humming Deck the Halls, so funny.

No snow here, it got warmer during the night but the temp is dropping again now. Perhaps you should give your daily walk a miss today, your hill could get very slippy.
