Welcome

Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.

I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!

Thank you for visiting my blog.

Dashing Through the Snow

As you probably know by now, I was very late making my Christmas cards this year and, in order to get any cards made at all, I bought some of Hunkydory Crafts' wonderful matching toppers and designer papers.  I just added some bits and bobs from my stash to come up with my own unique designs.  In order to keep each post manageable I decided the post a few cards every day and I am sure you will be glad to hear that this is the final post

I should also apologise, these cards have a highly reflective surface and I had to turn then away from the camera in order to avoid the worst of the glare off the flash.

  1. Absolutely love all the flying sleigh cards and images. Your layouts seem to make the Angel designs really magical. Have I ever told you that I have a deep mistrust of foxes? I often see one on my early morning walks! However, the fox in this image looks as if he might be okay, that cute little mouse appears to be safe! xxx

  2. This is the last of this years Christmas card posts, I just about got them all posted before the end of the year.

You know what they say about foxes, sly as a fox. These days urbanites put out food and treat them as cute and cuddly but my farming ancestors are unlikely to have tolerated them.

As I said, this is the last of the Christmas cards but I do have a lot of projects still waiting to be shared - I just need to get organised.
