Cross Stitch, knitting, crochet, dressmaking, card making, scrapbook and wedding stationery.
Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.
I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!
Thank you for visiting my blog.

The red on white is fabulous, very Scandanavian. There is something about a fake cookie prank that really appeals to me, I have no idea why. I used to have a ready supply of fake cockroaches and flies - I used to use them when I was teaching food hygiene and we have them as going home gifts for participants! XxxPs I've decided that wearing red lipstick every day in December is the way to go, even when working from home.🤣
ReplyDeleteAlot of the fabric around at the moment has a Scandanavian look about it, I really like that style of design.
DeleteTrust you to have Joke Shop humour. Did you go in for exploding cigarettes and nasty tasting sweets when you were about 12?

PS I am liking the red lipstick!
Exploding cigarettes? Of course I did and snappy chewing gum! 🤣
ReplyDeleteI never came across snappy chewing gum but I do remember one holiday with some of our cousins when the two of them came armed with all sorts of joke things from the traditional itching powder, to exploding cigarettes, horrible tasting hard boiled sweets and plastic bugs. Our parents really suffered that holiday, they were the butt of all of their pranks.
