Welcome

Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.

I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!

Thank you for visiting my blog.

Christmas Tree Potpourri

Day Seven from my new Christmas Countdown Tag Book is Flanagan's Fresh Christmas Tree Potpourri, I imagine that would be nice and piny - fresh!

Today's face masks also feature Christmas Tree's  ...   OK there are reindeer. as well

Let's see what the elves have been getting up to.  First to arrive last night were our adorable couple, Louis and Coco who seem to be having a home spa evening.

Just look as that wonderful bubble bath what about those cute little ducks and toiletries.

Louis is getting to all of thos hard to reach places

Whilst Coco is enjoying a facial (I just love her Playdoh cucumber slices).

A few days ago much of the country had snow, Daisy heard that we were due for a white weekend, but sadly it ever reached this far.  She got all dressed up and found her toboggan for nothing.  Daisy was a very disappointed elf.

Have a good week.

  1. Now I don't normally go for green for myself but that fabric is a game changer and definitely has dress potential! Those cucumber slices are genius and I love the tiny rubber ducks. xxx

    1. Funny that, I'm just the same - not a big fan of green apparel (I have a friend who will never wear it because it is the colour of the fairy folk and they apparently get angry if you wear their colour!).

I think the Elf on the Shelf set-ups are getting better and better.
