Welcome

Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.

I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!

Thank you for visiting my blog.

Christmas Fairy Fizz

Day 9 of our Advent adventure and the tag from my Advent countdown calendar is Christmas Fairy Fizz - now that sounds like something I could really appreciate.

Today's face masks feature a modern take on Christmas Trees on a lovely blue background.

Do you remember Arlen and Rowena Elves from previous year?  They have been very quiet this year and I have been trying to find out where they are.  Well it turns out that they have taken seperate holiday's this year - oh dear!  Well, the paparazzi have spotted Arlen fishing in someone's fish tank and I managed to get hold of one of the photos.

Coco and Louis are back from the North Pole, that new red car of theirs certainly made the trip a lot faster than previous years.

They have delivered the children's wish lists and have bought back report cards from Santa.

They have also bought back chocolate reindeer for each of the children - I guess their report cards are not too bad.

Looks like Daisy is feeling the strain a little and has decided to take it easy today ....

in fact she is having a lie-in ....... shhhh.

Have a good day.

  1. I agree, Fairy Fizz is definitely something to try, I wonder if they sell it in Tesco?😂 The elf fishing is hilarious and Daisy looks as snug as a bug in that sleeping bag! The way I feel today, after not much sleep, I'm tempted to take a leaf out if her book. xxx

    1. Oh, I know what you mean, I only got about an hour and a half sleep last night, I'm struggling to keep my eyes open. A nice glass of Fairy Fizz about now would be lovely.

Managed to deliver my last two Advent Calendars today ... only 9 days late! I think that is a record for me, 6 Advent Calenders in one year, do you know how much wrapping that is? 160 presents!

      Time for bed.
