Welcome

Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.

I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!

Thank you for visiting my blog.

Christmas Tree Tea

The countdown tag today features Christmas Tree Tea, I imagine a very interesting flavour, would you like milk with that?

This fabric is one of my favourites, I hope they like them as much when they open their Advent Mask this morning.

It seems that the elves are playing hide and seek today ......

Daisy has hidden herself in with the soccer figures.

Whilst Louis and Coco decided that their new home did not have enough Christmas decorations and spent the night putting more up.

And then they hid amongst the tinsel.

See you tomorrow.

    1. Thank you Carol. I wish some elves would come and put my decorations up, now that would be handy.

      Have a lovely weekend.

    1. Umm, is Betty's Christmas Tree Piny? (Piny looks all wrong but I looked it up, that is how it is spelt).

Our elves give me a good laugh, I can't wait for the photos to arrive each evening to see what chaos they are creatig in my niece's homes. I do not even have to come up with a narrative, my nieces write it for me.

  3. *loving - I seem to continually mis-typing i instead of o. It's not too much of a problem except when it comes to typing lockdown. Thankfully I've so far realised in time!
