Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.

I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!

Thank you for visiting my blog.

Mrs Goodiie's Humbug Antidote

Mrs Goodie's Humbug Antidote

Serve Hot to Any Grump,

Humbug, Scrooge,

or Malcontent

Day 13 already, where is this month going?  As you can see the tag in my Advent Countdown is advocating an antidote to the Christmas blues.

Today, two 'lucky' people will find face masks with a mad design of blue and red stockings in their Advent bags.

Shall we see what our elvish friends were up to last night?  There is just one today - over to Daisy the Elf.

Umm, Daisy is still going on about the lack of decorations at the house she is visiting and has decided to do something about it.

What do you think of her decorating skills.

I hope you have a peaceful Sunday, free from all meddling elves.

  1. Daisy's done a fabulous job, love her colour choices which also coordinate with today's mask. I finally got to have my 'flu' jab yesterday and the upside was that I got to wear one of your lovely masks. xxx

    1. Well done, something else ticked off your to do list. I finally, finally finished making face masks this evening and have just finished packing all of my 'gear' away. I mean it this time, I am not making anymore. I did a quick back of the envelope thing and calculate that I have make 655 masks in total, which means I have made emm, 167 Christmas masks. I just have to get them all delivered now, before it is too late for everyone to wear them. Next, those Christmas cards!

      Have a good week.

      Dionne xx
