Welcome

Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.

I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!

Thank you for visiting my blog.

Sleeping Draught

I am thinking that there are more than a few mums and dads who would like some Chrismas Eve Sleeping draught.  Day 24 of my Advent Countdown Tag Book already, where has this month gone?

There are just a few more face masks in the Advent Santa Sacks, today's has a holly and star pattern on a red background with gold highlights.

I wonder what the elves were up to last night ..............

Before setting off for the North Pole Coco and Louis were trying to help out by painting the Christmas tree decorations.  You need a steady hand for this type of work.  But, as we all know, that is what elves do best.

Daisy was also helping out with a few last minute finishing touches.

Daisy has turned herself into the largest star on top of the Christmas tree, you really are a star Daisy.

I shall be back later with more posts.

  1. That Daisy is a minx isn't she, but her antics do make me chuckle. Going to miss this little trio and their miniature marvels. Gorgeous fabric for the masks. Whichever outfit I had in this I would definitely need it in shoes as well!! xxx
