Welcome

Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.

I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!

Thank you for visiting my blog.

Pure Essence of Good

Advent - Day 15

On today's tag in Mrs Beez's Advent Countdown Tag Book is the Pure Essence of Good - Take one teaspoon to to remove all naughtiness (I can think of a few elves who could do with this product).

Whilst the face masks featured today have black and white Christmas trees on a silver background.

After all of the practical jokes last night, and the subsequent hysteria, Coco and Louis are taking it easy today.

Coco and Louis are relaxing - warming themselves by the fire.

Coco is busy knitting a scarf, I just love those tiny skeins of wool and her tiny knitting needles.

Have you notices how Louis always seems to be eating?  Today he is having a cup of tea and a hot dog whilst he checks for messages on his phone.

Daisy is playing hide and seek in the foam climbing blocks.

  1. That little scene of the elves having tea is adorable and I love the mini hot dog! More stylish fabric - I liked it when I thought it was a grey back round but on reading it was silver...awesome! I'm hoping that Louis really is checking for massages and not messages!!! 🤣

    1. Please don't mock my disabilities, I do my best but they took away spell checker on my blog and I am now exposed to this cruel world and all of it's mockers! I also love all of the Louis and Coco tableaus, so much work must go into setting them up and making the props.

Well, to be honest, the background on the face masks is probably gray, but I decided to interpret it as silver gray - or just silver to simplify matters.
