Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.

I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!

Thank you for visiting my blog.

Saying Farewell to our Elves

My apologies, I completely forgot to include these photographs in my earlier post - that is what happens when you schedule a post.

Having spent almost a month entertaining us our elves quite literally packed their bags and left on Wednesday night/Thursday morning.  Coco and Louis managed to slip away without being noticed but Daisy stayed just long enough to leave a note and a few presents for the girls.

By the looks if her suitcase, Daisy is a well traveled elf and I was really pleased to see that she had put on her face mask for her journey to the North Pole.

As well as these presents for the girls Daisy also used her special box as a Christmas Eve Box and packed it full of special goodies for the family on Christmas Eve night.

I am going to miss the elves and cannot wait for their return next year.

Take care little elves.

  1. Farewell Daisy, I shall be counting the days until it's time for your return. Thank you for all the fun you have brought throughout December. How kind to leave gifts and Christmas Eve boxes xxx

    1. I'm so sad! I am going to miss our daily dose of sunshine.

      Happy Boxing Day.

      Dionne xxx
