Welcome

Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.

I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!

Thank you for visiting my blog.

Reindeer Fuel

I could certainly do with some of Comet's Reindeer Fuel, so much still to do, with so little time left!  We had planned to visit family over Christmas but with the new Corvid rules announced last Saturday we have had to change our plans, because we have to stay home now.  That means more food shopping, I thought I had finished with that for at least a week!

These masks go perfectly with today's Advent Countdown Tag Book, tartan reindeer on a sky blue fabric.

It looks like Daisy has been doing a little bit of sleuthing and has discovered the Christmas treats, she has decided to share them with the children.

Daisy is not the only elf to find where the Christmas goodies were hidden, so have Louis and Coco only they did not decide to leave them for the children.  These naughty elves have helped themselves and passed them around the rest of the toys!

I wonder how many people dream of being like Coco and bathing in chocolate?  Look, there are hardly any sweeties left.

I think Mr Snowman has certainly had enough, he seems to have passed out.  Raymond Brigg's Snowman was never like this!

It may be tempting but don't OD on chocolate.

Have a good day.

  1. I can't wait to break open the Christmas chocolate, I may have to take a leaf out if these elves book - why wait?! The mask is made from another fabric I would happily have a whole range of outfits and accessories made out of, in fact it's so good I would have a suit for Mr Beez too. xxx

    1. Lol! Poor old Mr Beez, and to think my other half feels sorry for himself because he has to wear the masks.

I think this is the year for spoiling oursleves a little early, why not break out the chochies, a mug of something hot and a good old Christmas movie?
