Welcome

Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.

I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!

Thank you for visiting my blog.

My Little Dumbo

Hi

OK, I know that strictly speaking this isn't Dumbo, his ears are no way near big enough, but this image reminded me so much of the scene from the Disney film where Dumbo gets drunk at the circus, I just had to include it in this Challenge.

.
This little guy is really Olifant from Teddy Bo & Co and the image is called Olifant Blowing Bubbles.

Once I had coloured the image with Promarkers I mounted it on gold mirri and green glitter card.  The paper is from a Papermania stack.  The buttons, sentiment, twine and rosette are all from my stash.

Thanks for popping by, I really appreciate all the comments you leave.

  1. Hi Dionne
I was not really expecting another card today! You kept this one quiet. Funnily enough I was going to ask you about 2 days ago whether Dumbo is going to be featured on one of your brilliant makes and here he is! Looks like this one you coloured in has been a bit naughty and eating something soapy. That backing paper is beautiful and so is that rosette you made. Great touch with that twine as well.
