Welcome

Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.

I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!

Thank you for visiting my blog.

Mrs Rabbit

Day 14, post 3.

Wow, I am on a bit of a high at the moment.  I do not recall posting more than two things in one day before.

A day or two ago I had a special request from a dear friend - to include something from Beatrix Potter in this challenge.  Whilst have have nine or ten Crafter's Companion Beatrix Potter CD's, I do not have any of the stamps and there was not time to order them.  So, I have spent the last few days searching the internet for a Beatrix Potter digital stamp and I have at last found one - just the one.

This image of Mrs Rabbit came from Joyce Geleynse, the papers came from my Crafter's Companion, Peter Rabbit CD.  I coloured the image with Promarkers and added the Craftwork Cards sentiment, bow and flowers, which were from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Tomorrow sees a new challenge at Crafty Boots Challenges, please make sure you join in the fun and enter your projects into the challenge.

There is just time to enter the current challenge if you hurry, there is no limit to the number of times you can enter.  I hope I have given you a few ideas for this challenge.

  1. Hi again (LOL)
Such a beautiful card,Dionne. The image of Mrs Rabbit is brilliant and what a luck of finding it. Also love all the layers and your little flower arrangement with the little bow too.
Time to hop over to your other post.
