Welcome

Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.

I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!

Thank you for visiting my blog.

Little Red Riding Hood

Good morning, I hope you are feeling good today.

This is the 11th day of my personal challenge to post a card every day for the duration of the current Crafty Boots Challenges, the theme of which is Children's Stories or Nursery Rhymes.  Now hands up, who thought I would still be posting cards at this point?

My card today is inspired by the story of Little Red Riding Hood.

This particular Little Red Riding Hood is called To Grandmother's House and from Mo's Digital Pencil.  Once I had coloured the image with Promarkers and clear WoS, I mounted it on some mirri card.  I then covered a shaped Craftwork Card with a paper from a Forever Friends stack.  The sentiment is also from Craftwork Cards and the ticket from Ranger.  The ribbon and pins were from my stash.

Have a great day

Dionne.

  1. Hi Dionne
Oh WOW, This Little Red Riding Hood card is really something! Love the shape of the card, the image is gorgeous and I have to say that shade of red you coloured her in with is so striking, great matching ribbon and a little pin to go with your creation too.
There was no doubt in my mind that you would be still posting cards at this point. You even surprised us with more than one card in one day. You are doing fantastically!!!!
