Welcome
Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.
I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!
Thank you for visiting my blog.

Mad Hatter Tag
Between you and me, I am not very keen on making tags, I have nothing against tags as such, they are just me, in fact some of my crafting friends make the most amazing tags. However, I find them messing and I do not enjoy getting my hands and workspace messy, so I tend not to do them.
However, after all of the cards I have been making I felt like a change so here is my tag.
I covered the base with Peacock Feathers, Squeezed Lemonade and Shaded Lilac Distress Inks. The Mad Hatter and sentiment stamps are from the Alice II set which I purchased at IndigoBlu. I coloured the stamp with Promarkers and added Glossy Accents to the watch face.
The Clock Face Charm was also from IndigoBlu. I made the flower with a Spellbinder die.
Now, how am I going to get all this ink off my hands?
See you again in a little while.

Hi again
ReplyDeleteConsidering that you are not keen on making tags that much, you have really made a great one! It is nice to do something for a change, isn't it? Gorgeous image, that flower is super fantastic and the rest of embellishments you used I love too.

This another masterpiece. Love that flower and the background you have created. Subtle and stunning at the same time.
