This is my seventh consecutive day of posting, I hope I have not lost you yet?
All of the following cards are from the Hunkydory Adorable Scorable kit called 'Contemporary Christmas', in fact, they are all from their Winter Village' Topper Set.
This card was made from one of their backing papers, all I added were the Christmas baubles and sentiment.
Another of my new dies has put in an appearance on this card, everything else came from the kit.
This kit went a long, long way. Here I separated the image from it's frame and added a glittery Christmas tree and a sentiment to complete the picture.
My new dies got another outing on this card, I added a little Card Candi to complete the scene.
By now I am sure you do not need me to tell you that I tucked the corner of the image under the faux lace. Added a couple of snowflakes and a sentiment.
And finally today, another card created from the backing paper included in the set. This time I added this rather splendid star die and a sentiment.
The elves were busy last night. With their family now COVID free, our second set of elves were busy whilst the family slept.
Oh look, they have made breakfast, beans on toast. Very nice.
Oh no, it's Mr Bean on toast!
Did you spot their cute new chef outfits?
And the elves at the other house have not been idle. Whilst Louis and Coco were buy hiding activity books in the children's beds, those naughty triplets have been up to no good in another room.
The three little horrors have eaten all of the chocolates in the Advent Calendars. They have clearly stuffed themselves and look like they are in some sort of diabetic coma!
All of the chocolates are gone!
It's a bit like Goldilocks and the Three Bears - this elf has been caught red handed.
Oh, it was only a jolly jape, these are old Advent Calendars and the children's ones are still untouched in the kitchen.
What a relief
Take care.
Beautiful cards made with the kit Dee, your naughty Elves gave you a shock I can see, but at least they made it up in the end.
ReplyDeleteHi Faith, many thanks for your lovey comments. Those elves can be right monsters, of course we are treated to 2 lots of elves (apparently they are called troups), from homes of both of my nieces, so between them at least one houshold is likely to be up to no good. Last night both homes treated us to some fun!
DeleteThank you for leaving a comment.

I've been looking forward to visiting all day as a reward for the absolutely insane day I've had at work and goodness what an absolute treat it is, for all sorts of reasons. Stunningly beautiful cards, as you know, I can't resist a little house and these are gorgeous, made more so by the addition of your die cuts. As for the elves, the beans on toast made me laugh out loud. Reminded me of a fancy dress costume I put together for Sam when he was little. The Advent calendar trick also hilarious, what fantastic planning. Thank you for brightening my particularly stressful day! xxx
ReplyDeleteIt is an honour to be your daily pick me up. It is sad that it only lasts for 24 days, but I guess that my nieces would eventually run out of ideas, so we cannot expect them to continue into 2023. Between them I think the girls now have something like a dozen elves - all with their created personalities.
DeleteThe little houses sheet of toppers was very generous but I do not think I was in a very creative mood the evening I put this set together. I need to photograph the cards I have made since then, otherwise there will be no post tomorrow .... or one with only the elves.
Try to chill out this evening.

Ah ha Carol, the third card came out much clearer than the others and, it's colours are true to life, whereas the others look rather smokey - but they aren't like that really. I am afraid that it is the artificial light (the room is dark all the time at this time of year).
DeleteI wonder what those elves will get up to tonight?
