Cross Stitch, knitting, crochet, dressmaking, card making, scrapbook and wedding stationery.
Welcome
Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.
I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!
Thank you for visiting my blog.

Chaos on our roads and no snow --2 to -4 and freezing fog but no snow thankfully -still -2 today but fog gone although still freezing and everything covered in frost for the past three days! Absolutely beautiful cards love the images especially the doves and all the gold-maybe gone into hibernation lol

Our snow is slowly melting but as soon as the sun goes the temp drops between 0 and -3. It even feels cold inside.
DeleteThank you, I rather like these card as well, it is such a shame that I cannot really show them at there best - between light bouncing off all of the metalic elements and the shiny surfaces. I end up switching off the flash and turning to the side!

These are beautiful. The images with the metallic mats and layers is a stunning combination. Sorry not to see the elves, I do hope they're okay. We have very little snow compared to many areas of the country, but what we have got is hanging around as it is so cold. xxx
ReplyDeleteThank you for your lovely comments. Funnily, I was just telling Carol that all the metallic parts are so hard to photograph and you really do not get to see them at their best.
DeleteI have elf news. Two sets of photos turned up today, so there will be elves tomorrow!
