You will be pleased to hear that I am getting towards the end of my pile of cards. Today's group of cards are all from the Hunkydory Adorable Scorable kit called 'White Christmas', the sheet called Forest Friends. This was a sheet left over from last year when I made a card for my hubby (that gold Lamé bow would not stay stuck to that card, I guess it was too heavy, thinking about it, I was lucky to get the photograph before it fell off again!) .
This is a silver mirri stepper card - which I made using a Presscut die. Everything except the sentiment came from this lovely kit.
I have received a Christmas card, which I should like to share with you today.
I cannot help myself, but every time I get to this point, I am reminded that the elves will be leaving us soon!
Now, I need to explain that this family have a cat called Izzy. Izzy most certainly does not belong to the family, Izzy is very much the boss (and he is spoilt rotten).
However, you may have spotted Izzy in the corner of that last photo. Moments later he started to clean up the mess because he was not getting the blame for this!
Ha ha ha!

That silver stepper card is incredible! I love the other two as well (always love a robin) but the stepper is an absolute showstopper. Thanks for the shout on my card - it's a great poc! Those elves have overstepped the mark - you can't play fast and loose with the Christmas tree! I exoected better of Dot! Although the message pointing the finger at the culprit did tickle me. I loved the reindeer ducks pulling the sleigh in yesterday's adventure xx
ReplyDeleteThose elves are getting worse and as for trying to point the finger at the cat! You are right about Dot, I too am very disappointed with her.
DeleteIt is sad others cannot see the sparkle on your card, you could say that it is the icing on the cake.

Gorgeous cards Dionne and love the squirrels and Robin images-I always use glossy acents for sticking embellishments and bows or if it's just ribbon use it on the ends at the back. Beautiful card from Mrs Beez love the die-cut wreath and magnificent stag. Playing with fire blaming the cat and yes the cats are in charge -ours too -they train us not the other way round, we cater to their every whim ! I remember the Crafty Boots challenge and so many more have closed since then!

Thank you Carol, they are lovely robins, aren't they?
DeleteI sometimes use Glossy Accents, quite often Glue Gel but nothing held that ****** bow in place. It just about held for me to take the photo. It's a glue for die cut items which I need to find, whatever I use gets everywhere and messes up the card!
I hope your remember Crafty Boots Challenges fondly. I loved every minute of being on the team but it became quite hard work towards the end, as it was only Mrs Beez and me making all the cards and setting the programme and doing all of the commenting and so forth. We could not find new members, we really tried. It just became to much and we very reluctantly closed down. Still it was not all bad, I made a really good friend.

Gorgeous cards as always Dee, as for those toilet paper decorations by those naughty Elves, they did make me smile.

Happy Christmas Faith. I have stopped apologising for those elves, I just have to accept that you cannot take them anywhere. To be honest though, I am surprized that Santa does not insist on higher standards from his helpers.
