Welcome

Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.

I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!

Thank you for visiting my blog.

Thank You

It's catch-up time.

Whilst I was off enjoying my little sabbatical from blogging I received several cards from fellow crafters. I would normally share these miniature works of art with you at the time I received them. As that did not happen at that time, I thought we could have a little catch-up this afternoon.

The first card was made by Lisette (AKA Mrs Beez). This beautiful stamped card features bumble bees on a honeycomb background with a pink rose boarder.

The next is a gorgeous CAS card by Carol (AKA The Crafty Stamper).  A pretty in pink design featuring a vase of flowers.  If you would like more information on this charming design, just follow the link.

Next up we have another lovely card by Carol (AKA The Crafty Stamper).  If you would like to know more about this cute little bird in it's best hat, just follow the link.

What do we have next?  Ah, yes another of Carol's beautiful cards.  Carol very kindly sent me this fabulous rose design for our wedding anniversary.  Places on this multi layered card have been highlighted with Glossy Accents ie the ladybirds and water droplets on the rose.

The next is one of The Craft Stamper's speciality cards, a fabulous diamond point shaped card, featuring a Chocolate Baroque stamp.  This is a very intricate design, consisting of lots of layers (I counted 16 layers).  It looks quite stunning in it's subtle pastel colours..

This stamped Halloween card was made by Lisette (AKA MrsBeez).  A gorgeous mix of distress inks and stamps form the background to this little ghost and bat.

And finally, a really pretty card with a secret.  It is another card made by Carol (AKA The Craft Stamper).  This card has really pretty papers in delicate pastel shades and sweet bee and butterfly stamps.  The card is an unusual shape and contains a secret tag inside the flap.  If you would like to find out more about this card just follow the link.

That is us all up to date and, now I see all of these cards together, I realise just how blessed to am to have such good and talented friends  Thank you so much ladies, I treasure all of the cards you send to me

I'll be back in the morning with more Christmas cards.

    1. It's my pleasure Carol, I just love to share the treasures you send to me.

Writing this post I realised just how limited my vocabulary is for describing something beautiful and fabulous.

    1. I may struggle to find different words but I always mean what I say, even if, sometimes I sound a bit repetative.

    1. As I do you Lisette. At the moment there does not seem to be an end to these challenging times. Stay strong, surely it cannot go on for much longer.
