Welcome

Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.

I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!

Thank you for visiting my blog.

Let it Snow

Good morning, good morning.

I hope you are well, how are your preparations for the holidays going, cards in the post?  Decorations up?  Shopping all done?  I am lagging behind a bit, the cards are made and in the post, presents wrapped but I still have not got up into the attic to get the decorations down.

My selection of cards today have a snowman theme.  All of my cards this year are made from Hunkydory Crafts kits.  They are so simple to make and just what you need when you have a lot of cards to make ... especially if you are like me and leave it to the last minute to make your cards.

Time to see what our elves have been done, just visits to Daisy and Danny again today as they are not very well over at Louise and Coco's house.

More 'I'm an Elf, Get me Out of Here' games, what were they up to the other night?

Oh no, Ant and Dec have locked Daisy and Danny in a 'coffin' with loads of bugs.  Eek!

There is no way you would get me doing that!

Daisy and Danny managed to escape by the next night but I think that Ant and Dec have been a very bad influence on them ....... 'It's the STINKIEST time of the year', what on earth do the mean?

Oh I see, how rude!

Do you feel all itchy?  I do, all of those creepy crawlies.

Hope to see you tomorrow.

    1. Thank you Carol. Gosh it is cold here today, but at least we have not had any snow.

    1. Ha, ha, ha. Probably at the same time you were writing your comments I was on the Hunkydory website looking at the current Christmas toppers (they have to be this year's if I am to get an early start and, unfortunately, they are never in the sale when I buy them). Clearly I am on the same wavelength as you - so what do you say?
