Welcome

Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.

I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!

Thank you for visiting my blog.

Slaigh Bells Ringing

Welcome and a big thank you to everyone who has left comments this past couple of weeks, I really appreciate all of your feedback.

All of my cards this year have been made using pre-coloured toppers with matching backing cards from Hunkydory Crafts.  From each die-cut sheet I can usually get three or four cards. I then add the occasional embellishment from my craft stash.

And now for the reason we are all really here .... those naughty little elves.  It seems that the tooth fairy has got her own back on them!

But it did not slow them down for long because the next night they were back and up to no good again, this time they sneaked into the girls bedroom and covered them in little elf stamps!

I wonder if they will wash off?

I hope you have a great day.

    1. Thank you Carol, I am so pleased that you liked your card. It is so hard trying to decide which card to send to someone .... especially when you are a crafter.

Every evening I can't wait to find out what the elves have been up to this time and how much naughtier they can possibly get. Of course, where I was late putting up my posts, you are a little behind me. Although you are catching up fast, we should be all caught up by the end of the week.

  3. Gorgeous cards once again. I especially like the triptych one with the church. It's very like the church in our village and I love the light shining out from within. Love the little elf stamps that Daisy and Danny have been busy with! Xxx

  4. Thank you Lisette, that triptych one was a nightmare to line up, I am sure there must be an easier way!

I do not have any elf stamps, I wonder where they got them from ....
