Welcome

Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.

I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!

Thank you for visiting my blog.

Driving Home for Christmas

Good morning, I hope you are well today?

More Christmas cards, this time the themes are Teddy Bears and Christmas Trees. Both are from a Hunkydory Crafts pre-colored toppers and matching backing cards kit. I just add some fake snow here and some flat back gems there and hey presto a quick and easy card.

Shall we see what the elves are up to?  We have two visits with Daisy and Danny today.  They are complaining that the biscuits they stole taste horrible, not surprizing ... they are the cat's biscuits!

The next night Ant and Dec put in another appearance and they are making Daisy and Danny play the elf version of 'I'm a Celebrity, Get me Out of Here'. They are making Daisy and Danny eat Mealworms and liquidized fish eyes. Yuck!

Horrible little elves.

Back tomorrow with more of their antics.

Every evening I wonder what the elves are going to get up to this time. They are mad.
