Welcome

Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.

I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!

Thank you for visiting my blog.

Dogs Dressed-up as Reindeer?

Day 2 of my Christmas cards for this year.

This first set of cards features dogs dressed-up as reindeer - hence the post title.

All of my cards have been made using pre-coloured toppers with matching backing cards from Hunkydory crafts.  From each die-cut sheet I can usually get three or four cards. I then add the occasional embellishment from my craft stash.

This next set of cards have a Victorian theme.

Shall we see what the elves were up to the other night?  First up we have Louise and Coco who have bought Christmas stamps to go on the children's Christmas cards.  I think I can also see lolly pops and other treats!

Next we have Daisy and Danny, they have left the children little packs to write their letters to Santa, but where are Daisy and Danny?

Those naughty elves are swinging from the hall light fitting

I hope you have a good week, perhaps I shall see you again tomorrow.

  1. This set of cards are stunning. I love the images but it's how you've displayed them that shows them off so well. Those elves in the light fitting - too funny! xxx

    1. Thank you, you are too kind. I am sure I do not deserve such praise but don't stop.

The next evening my other neice hid the elves in the ceiling light fitting but obviously did not do such a bang up job becuase in the morning one of her elves fell out and onto her 5 year old daughter, who is now totally convinced that their elves are alive and jumped on her. I just adore children at her age.

    1. Thank you Carol.

I don't know whether you read my previous comment but my other niece decided to do the same with her elves the next night however, one of the elves dropped on her daughter the next morning and now her little girl is totally convinced that the elves are alive and jumped on her on purpose. Ha ha.
