Welcome

Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.

I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!

Thank you for visiting my blog.

Oh, Crisp-mas Tree

Just a few days to go to the big day.

I have been sharing my Christmas cards with you.  That are all made from Hunkydory Crafts kits, really quick and easy to put together.  I have been sharing a few Christmas cards every day, so you are not swamped with too many photographs with each post. I apologise for any glare, my camera picks up any shinny surfaces and these toppers are highly reflective, they look great in real life but not when you are trying to photograph them.   I have tried to angle them slightly to cut down on the glare.

Let's go see what those littles elves have been getting up to.

Emm, is the clue in the words of the song?

Oh Crisp-mas Tree

Oh Crisp-mas Tree

Ah, I see what they have done.  I wonder where they put the other decorations and the lights?  Will it be crisps for breakfast?

We have a second visit with Daisy and Danny today .....

They have invented a shrinking machine, whatever do they mean?

Ha ha, I see, they have shrunk the biscuits down to elf size.  Brilliant!

Hope you have a lovely day ..... and just breath!

    1. I did laugh at that shrinking machine, although the Crisp-mas tree was a pretty good idea too. I do not know where my niece gets all of her ideals from.

Thank you for all of your lovely comments on the cards, I know it has been a long haul, thanks for sticking with me.

  3. Thank you, too kind, too kind.

I saw my niece this evening and her two elves looked so innocent sitting on the top shelf.
