Welcome

Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.

I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!

Thank you for visiting my blog.

Dashing Through the Snow

Those of you who have been following this journey of post after post of my Christmas cards for this year will probably be pleased to hear that there are not very many cards left.

But perhaps you have not found this blog before and do not know that for the past week or so I have been sharing the cards I have made from Hunkdory Crafts kits.  They consist of easy to use die cut pre-coloured toppers and beautiful matching backing cards.

The truth is that the reason you all put up with my Christmas cards is so you can see what the elves staying with my nieces have been getting up to.  We have two visits with Daisy and Danny again today.

Oh dear, they have been up to no good again.  Have you ever see twp more naughty elves .... well other than Ant and Dec (check earlier posts if you do not know who I talking about)?

They have discovered the Christmas chocolates and have eaten the lot.

No wonder they feel sick.  Look at all of those empty wrappers.

... and they have chocolate all over their faces.

I think they were feeling very guilty the following day because they have left the girls sa cuddly toy each.

A cuddly elf toy.

See you tomorrow.

    1. Thank you Carol, my only real input to these kit cards is the layout, but it is enough to make each card unique.

I really do not know where the naughty antic of these elves will stop.

  2. I would happily visit just for the cards! I've come to the conclusion that Hunky Dory somehow manage to give nostalgic images a contemporary twist. Them you do your magic and give them added wow factor. Those elves remind me of myself today - I can polish off half a tin without any problem. I just hide all the wrappers. xxxx

    1. Ah, that is so nice of you to say that.

Don't let me near a tub of chocolates, I never know when to stop! It's the same with bisuits too.
