Welcome

Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.

I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!

Thank you for visiting my blog.

Can you Hear Him? Christmas Cards

More of my Christmas cards today.

I am so busy at the moment I chose to use Hunkydory toppers and matching papers.  I added some scraps from my stash to come up with my own unique design.  This set has lovely traditional designs.

I have quite a few photos today featuring Daisy the Elf, sorry there are so many but there are three days worth.

I think that Daisy likes to play Hide and Seek ...

as well as tobogganing to the shops.

  1. Nearly missed these! More gorgeous images, so warm and cosy, and you have showcased them so beautifully. I especially love that snowflake x

    1. I got a lot less artistic as the days passed, the last few are a bit boring!

That snowlake has sparkle in the threads, it is much prettier in real life.

    1. Do you think that elf managed to stay hanging there all night ... or did they find her in a heap on the floor in the morning?

Those Hunkydory toppers come in a great variety of styles, so you can find something suitable for most of the people you know. They certainly beat hand colouring dozens of toppers.
