Welcome

Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.

I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!

Thank you for visiting my blog.

Little Elf Dolls

I have been making rag dolls for dolls, so to speak.

This was one of the more fiddly patterns I have ever attempted, they are so small, I felt like I had ten thumbs.  Three tiny elf rag dolls.

I wonder what Daisy made of her tiny present.

Oww, it looks like Daisy is throwing a party .....

and everyone is wearing a Santa style hat in celebration.

The little rag doll is there too.

  1. Oh my goodness these really are super tiny. It's only seeing Daisy with her doll that you realise the scale. I can only imagine how fiddly but what a great job you did. Xx

    1. Thank you very much, I am taking a bow! Having said that, I think the eyes were a bit oversized but I just could not get them smaller.

      Have a good week.

    2. PS I have found a teeny tiny teddy bear pattern and, if I ever get over the trauma of making these rag dolls, I may make he teddy bears for next year.

    1. Oh, I don't know about that Carol. I was feeling pretty frustrated (or possibly stressed) after making three of the rag dolls.
