Welcome

Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.

I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!

Thank you for visiting my blog.

Eat, Drink and Be Merry Christmas Cards

Here are some more of the cards I have made this year by using Hunkydory toppers and matching papers.   I just added some glitter card, ribbon and papers from my stash to complete the look.  I forgot to mention before that some these toppers and papers even come with printed inserts.

I think that these three cards have a lovely cosy feel about them, perhaps it is the blazing fire.

Let's have a quick catch-up with what Daisy the Elf has been up to.

So Daisy got a cookie, I was there yesterday and I never got offered any cookies.

That Daisy, she is just like a cat - always climbing up things and she likes to be in high places so she can see what is going on.

    1. Haha, now here is a reveal, I do not like either, in fact, I cannot drink red wine either. I am much more of a sponge cake and cocktail girl.

      Bring on the party!

  2. I nearly missed these. There's something wonderfully nostalgic about these. That Christmas pudding looks good enough to eat and the tartan sets the images off perfectly xx

    1. These Hunkydory sets have offered a huge variety of styles - they were actually three different sets but nonetheless so many styles. It would be so hard to pick a favourite.
