Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.


I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!

Dolly Pip

Happy Friday!

We have been looking forward to this weekend for some time as tomorrow one of my nieces is to be married, I hope that they have a long and very happy life together.  I do have cards and invitations to share with you, but not today.

Today I want to share this card featuring one of my favourite stamp ranges, The Sherbet Pips, which is part of the larger Sugar Nellies line from Funky Kits.  This one is called Dolly Pip.  I made this card as one of my DT pieces from the current Crafty Boots 'Use a Stamp' Challenge.


Once I had coloured the stamped image with Promarkers I mounted it onto some gold mirri card.  The papers are from a Timeless Textures paper stack and The Promise stack by First Edition.


I bought the 'sweets' some time ago as part of a candy pack from  ebay and the sentiment is from Craftwork Cards.

There are still a couple of days for you to enter your projects into this Crafty Boots Challenge.

    Oh this is so sweet Dionne!! Love this image and you rocked her hair colouring!! Love those little embellies!! Hope all is going well with you Dee, can't believe summer is coming to a close soon and I feel I haven't done a fraction of what I wanted to. Isn't that always the way. sending hugs :)

    Thank you Pamellia. Those sweet embellishments are cute, I got a mixed bag - you should see the M&M's they are so realistic, I just can't bring myself to use them.

    Our summer was late getting here, but it is making up for it now. However, I have noticed the nights are drawing in and the birds are staying in bed longer these days.
