Welcome

Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.

I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!

Thank you for visiting my blog.

Three Decoupage Cards

In my haste to post all my Christmas cards before the actual day I find myself making three posts today.

I mentioned a few days ago that when I wrote my cards I discovered that I had not made enough.  A quick ferret through my craft stash found three very old decoupage sheets.  I bought them from C&C when I first started making cards and I cannot remember what make they were, sorry.

These sheets were so old they were from the days before you simply pressed out the layers and I had to fussy cut them before layering them up.  I used some of the embellishments left over from my Hunkydory cards plus some bits from my stash.

I will be back again later.

    1. Thank you. The robin card makes your eye go a bit funny because I have caught it at a slight angle and, if you look closely, you can see all of the layers.

      Have a great day.

  2. Another stunning set, these almost look as if they are glowing. I love the snowmen, but the robin is so stylish. X
