Like yesterday's card, I have used this image twice before, back in June 2013 and again in February 2015.
The image is from Eureka Stamps and is called Butterfly and Sunflowers, however, I am pretty sure the flowers have been misnamed and they are actually coneflowers. I coloured the image with Copic markers and mounted it on silver mirri and Garden Green card from Stampin' Up. The backing paper and sentiment stamp are also from Stampin' Up.
Beautiful Dionne!! Love the image, your colour choices are amazing!! That corner die cut with the butterflies is so beautiful, and the metallic shine adds such elegance!! Hope you had a wonderful week, just playing some catch up today. hugs :)
ReplyDeleteHi, I have missed your visits but it is great to know that you have been off having such a great time.
DeleteI think this butterfly is one of my favourite butterfly images (and not just because I won it for one of my cards) and Memory Box have some amazing butterfly dies - this one comes in parts and you can use as little or as much of it as you like ... I used all of it here.

Ha Ha - you got me, not many manage that! Love this card - your colouring has made the butterfly look three dimensional.
ReplyDeleteTe he, I thought you would like that one!
DeleteI think that is why I like this butterfly so much, it looks great with a just a simple colour graduation.

I agree with the others, those butterflies are so pretty! Where do you get them?
ReplyDeleteThis Memory Box die is called Fluttering Corner. I get most of my craft supplies on line by Googling whatever I am looking for.
DeleteI hope this helps.
