We have reached the midway point in the current Crafty Boots Challenge. The theme of the current challenge is 'Stars of Stripes'. The last DT card I shared with you featured stars, so today I decided to go with stripes.
Cross Stitch, knitting, crochet, dressmaking, card making, scrapbook and wedding stationery.
Welcome
Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.
I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!
Thank you for visiting my blog.

Great card and I love, love, LOVE those butterflies. I probably need some Ecoline inks, right? xx
ReplyDeleteThank you. I do not think you have to use Ecoline inks but certainly some bottled ink. I have managed to cut quite a few things from the sheet of paper I made so watch this space to see what else I made.

Oh my gosh Dee, I was just about to ask how the heck you got the beautiful pattern on your butterflies...I am so glad you are having a little messy fun in your craft room! Aren't those Ecoline inks just juicy!! Thank you for the mention, you are so sweet...but you really took this technique to another level by cutting out those butterflies, it creates such a wonderful pattern!! Can't wait to see what you come up with next my friend!! hugs :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Pamellia. I think my next shout out will be when I have a go at your fabulous roses, your latest video was a real eye opener.
DeleteYou will be amazed at how many things I squeezed out of that sheet of paper, you are going to be seeing quite a bit of it.
