Welcome

Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.

I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!

Thank you for visiting my blog.

So Blue Daisies

The current challenge at Crafty Boots Challenges is 'Use a Sentiment'.  I almost always pop a sentiment onto my cards so I do not think it is not difficult to make a qualifying card.

I decided to use up some of the scraps laying around my craft table.  It is amazing how they pile up and like most crafters I hate to throw anything away.

This daisy stamp is by Sheena Douglas, I used Promarkers to colour it, then I mounted it on silver mirri and purple card. I am not sure why I cut the image in three, I was looking for something a bit different.

I cut the leaves from some green glitter card and the fabric daisies are from Wild Orchid Crafts. I cannot say what the papers are but the sentiment is by Craftwork Cards.
