A few weeks ago I found this free colouring page on Colouring Book, at the time I did not use the image. However, I have now coloured it with F&C polychromos pencils and mounted it on silver card from my stash. The pink pearlised card, tickets and the Craftwork Cards sentiment are all from my stash. I found the polka dot ribbon and the fairy charm in a box when I was tidying up my craft stuff just before Christmas, it was full of reels of ribbon, I have had them ages, but never used any of them before. The one brand new thing on this card is the fab backing paper, which is from Studio Calico, and was part of a Christmas gift from the very talented Stephanie-Emma.
Cross Stitch, knitting, crochet, dressmaking, card making, scrapbook and wedding stationery.
Welcome
Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.
I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!
Thank you for visiting my blog.

A bit of both, I totally hear you Dionne! All year I collect craft items and I get around to using maybe half of them!! So every January I say I'm going to pull them all out and use them...yeah right, I'm such a creature of habit! tee hee. Love your card sweetie, who doesn't love Dalmations!! hugs :)
ReplyDeleteMe too, I could believe the box of a 17 reels of ribbon, all brand new and untouched, but probably 10 years old and forgotten about! So, I have made a handful of cards using images, charms, ribbon etc I have bought but never used.

Fabulous layout and papers. I love the how the ribbon is a reverse of the Dalmatians - brilliant! xx
ReplyDeleteThank you Mrs Beez.

I'm with you on the old/new Dionne! those Dalmatians are splendid and so fun. Awesome sauce card and use of the old and the new! Hehe! ~Niki
ReplyDeleteHi Niki, I have so much stuff that I buy and just never quite get around to using, this challenge seemed the perfect opportunity to dig some of it out.
DeleteI sat down with a pile of images and my new-ish pencils and started colouring (some of my never before used by me images are older than my pencils!). It was a nice way to spend some of those post Christmas afternoons.
Thank you for stopping by.
