Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.

I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!

Thank you for visiting my blog.

Dinner Time

I hope you had a good weekend.  It has turned much colder here and many parts of the UK have seen snow over the past few days.  We were lucky, the little snow we have had did not last long, but I would be surprized if we have seen the last of the fluffy white stuff.

There is a new challenge at Crafty Boots Challenges and this seems the perfect weather for heading to the craft room to play around with pencils, paper, glue and ribbon ... or perhaps lace because the theme of this challenge is 'Ribbon or Lace'.

This free colouring page is from Colouring Book, I have coloured it with F&C polychromos pencils and mounted it on to some yellow and pink card. The the fabulous backing paper, is from Studio Calico, and was part of a Christmas gift from the very generous Stephanie-Emma.  The  Craftwork Cards sentiment and cute buttons are all from my stash, as was the all important pink ribbon.

My lovely team mates at Crafty Boots Challenges have been very busy so please make sure you check out their work.

  1. Fab card - how perfect is that backing paper to go with the cute image (what a brilliant freebie!, gorgeous ribbon too :) xx

    1. Thank you. To think I have been been paying between £2 and £4 for my digital images for years and now I discover that there are countless free images out there.

Thank you for visiting my blog, I look forward to reading your feedback on my work. I hope you will visit again.
