This week I have been rather cheeky and used the theme of this challenge as an excuse to get on with my Christmas cards.
Cross Stitch, knitting, crochet, dressmaking, card making, scrapbook and wedding stationery.
Welcome
Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.
I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!
Thank you for visiting my blog.

I Had a Little Nut Tree
This week I have been rather cheeky and used the theme of this challenge as an excuse to get on with my Christmas cards.
You got me singing the nursery rhyme as soon as I saw your post title lol beautifully coloured image -and can't believe you have copics and not using them

Lol. It is a case of the devil you know Carol, I can get better results with my Promarkers. I do not have all of the colours in the Copics range I only have just over half of them and I am sure it is just a case of practising with them but it making myself do it!

TBH I prefer promarkers to copics too I don't have any but have used my sons-he is a brilliant tattooist and uses them (and my promarkers) for designs and one off pictures

Oh I have some wee little friends who would love a tree like that! lol. Beautiful card Dionne and it's good to get a little ahead with the Christmas card making, any old excuse will do for me! lol hugs :)
ReplyDeleteI am afraid the food would not last them very long if all it would bare was a silver nutmeg and a golden pear but it would be a very pretty place to live. Ha ha.

Another gorgeous card, love this image and I remember you reminding me of the rhyme that I loved as a child. Love what you have done with silver nutmeg xx
ReplyDeleteThank you. Ah yes, I used this image for a card last year and looked up the rhyme when I posted it.
DeleteI think it makes a very elegant card.
