Welcome
Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.
I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!
Thank you for visiting my blog.

Thank you Carol.
DeleteI actually use two craft lights when I take my photos but lately they have not helped at all. However, this evening I think I may have found out why, the bulb went on my OttLite. Wow, the new bulb is so much brighter! We shall see if it makes a difference when I photograph my next project.

What a sweet image Dionne! Love the little flowers in the corner! Hope all is well with you and I hope you had a wonderful birthday. Did you get my birthday email by the way? Has it stopped raining yet?lol
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Pamellia. It is still raining here, I wonder if it will be like last winter when it never seemed to stop raining, mind you we also had a very hot summer .... when it eventually dicided to stop raining.
DeleteI am sorry I was so slow answering all of my birthday mail, I hope you have now received my email.
Dionne xx
PS My husband is really looking forward to seeing your fall photographs.
Great card! I mustve missed this one! Always cute images and colors. And I hear ya when the whether changes..ugh messes up my pictures too. You can tell when there are lovely bright photos versus darker images where Im using a lot of photo editing!
ReplyDeleteSadly even photo editing could not rescue this one, if I tried to brighten it, the card looked over exposed - probably something to do with the very soft colours in the backing paper.
DeleteAt least you will appreciate the lovely daisies, others who have yet to discoved WOC will not realise what they are missing!
