Cross Stitch, knitting, crochet, dressmaking, card making, scrapbook and wedding stationery.
Welcome
Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.
I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!
Thank you for visiting my blog.

Same hot weather here! We finally got some rain last night but not enough. I live in an area where drought is very common. June was noted to be the highest temperature in the last 14 months. As for your card...so cute! Love the chubby wubby bear showing his wittle belly! Haha like my baby talk. My 8 month old is starting her mumbo jumbo jibberish which is so adorable. :)
ReplyDeleteI do not think we are breaking any records yet and I am told it was a little cooler today. It is rare that it last long here, so you just have to put up with it whilst it is here.
DeleteI have a great niece who is at the same stage, I spoke to my sister this evening, who had been baby sitting, she said that her granddaughter 'chatted' away all the time she was there.

Fabulous image Dionne, totally made me giggle!! Our temps here have been more towards the 100+ than not. Thankfully we have air conditioning, but when you add that to the horrible drought we are in this year, the world outside is looking pretty bleak. Stay cool my friend. hugs :)
ReplyDeleteHi Pamellia, thankfully we had a little bit of rain in the night which dropped the temperature enough to get some sleep, but my eyes still feel a little like they are full of gooey stuff. No crafting for me at the moment because gooey eyes do not focus well. I could not cope with the weather you are having, I would have to move into the local swimming pool!
ReplyDeleteHave a good weekend.
