We have had two whole days without rain, I know that most of you have been suffering exceptionally high temperatures but here in the UK we have had so much rain recently I have been thinking about buying a boat!
Enough of this gloom, at
Crafty Boots Challenges we are celebrating Christmas in July, one of my favourite challenges.
I have another Delicious Doodles wintery images to share with you today, this one is called
Snowy Postbox. After colouring the scene with Ptomarkers I used Polar Flower Soft to pick out the snow. I then mounted it on silver mirri card.
The backing papers are from
The Digi Rainbow and the sentiment is from Craftwork Cards. The wooden snowflakes and seasonal ribbon are from my stash.

I love the green background with the snowflakes! The wintery image is so cozy which makes it a perfect Christmas card!
ReplyDeleteThank you. I see what you mean by cozy, it should make you feel cold and shivery but instead it is rather snug. Ha ha, I never noticed that before.

Love this. Just want to snuggle up and watch Christmas films - glimpsing out the window at this gorgeous scene. The Flowersoft is so effective too. xx
ReplyDeleteThank you. Which Christmas films are you planning to watch during this Christmas in July period? Last year I watched 'A Wonderful Life' for the first time, I thought it was about time!

I haven't planned yet but Home Alone 2 is always in there along with one called Instant Message!! They have just started showing Christmas films on Movies 24 (weekdays after 1pm) :) x
DeleteI haven't seen either of those.
