Today sees the start of a new Challenge at Crafty Boots, the theme for the next two weeks is 'Use a Sentiment'. A bit of a no brainer really, I almost always add a stamped or shop made sentiment my cards.
Cross Stitch, knitting, crochet, dressmaking, card making, scrapbook and wedding stationery.
Welcome
Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.
I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!
Thank you for visiting my blog.

Use a Sentiment Challenge
Today sees the start of a new Challenge at Crafty Boots, the theme for the next two weeks is 'Use a Sentiment'. A bit of a no brainer really, I almost always add a stamped or shop made sentiment my cards.
Your cards just get more and more awesome, as does your colouring. Look at those amazing highlights!!!! Lovely to see my favourite spotted flowers too :) xx
ReplyDeleteThank you my dear friend. I made this card for my sister, whose birthday it is today, I hope she also likes it.

Gorgeous Dionne! I sure love when you whip out your flowers and go to town!! How wonderfully decorative and feminine!! Use a sentiment, sounds great to me! Happy Tuesday my friend! hugs :)
ReplyDeleteFor me, because I use sentiments all of the time, this is more like a anything foes challenge and it lets me use some more of those favourite images.
DeleteI hope you are good and your are finding some sun.

This is such a lovely card! I love the flowers especially. I am a big fan of flowers on paper crafts. The little girl coloring is so cute. You did a great job! You have more patience than me when it comes to coloring!
ReplyDeleteThank you. This is one of my favourite images (I have a lot), it is fun to colour - I love the legs.
DeleteI too use flowers on my cards a lot but it usually makes them difficult to post, so I do not use them all of the time, I try to keep the cards that need to go in the post a little flatter.
