Welcome


Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.


I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!

Notelets

Back again!

This morning I shared with you a set a post cards I had made for the current Crafty Boots Sketch Challenge and I said that I would be back this afternoon to show you what happened to the postcards after I had taken the photographs.

In all, I made 16 postcards and it would have been so easy to have made a lot more.  All the time I was working on the postcards I kept thinking of other round objects I could have included.  I continued to tinker with some of the sentiments and I turned them all into notelets.

Before we go any further, I should warn you that this post contains a lot of photographs.  I have split the cards into sets for convenience.

This first set I have called coffee and a snack:







Next up we have the sun, the earth and the moon.





The next group are all the miscellaneous images and I really could have expended some of these into quite large groups of their own, for instance flowers are sports balls.






The final group is in many ways my favourite, fruit cocktails:

    These are totally inspired, I love them. I keep changing my mind about which is my favourite. You nailed that tricky old sketch!!! xx
