Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.

I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!

Thank you for visiting my blog.

Bethlehem Blues

The current Challenge at Crafty Boots Challenges is 'Monochome' and I have another Christmas card to share with you today.

I have some nice solid Christmas stamps which are perfect for monochrome cards.

This Stampin' Up stamp is one of my favourites, it always leaves a lovely crisp image.  I stamped it in Night of Navy and mounted it on some dark blue glitter card.  I then layered it on some Night of Navy card and some embossed white card.  The sentiment stamp is also from Stampin' Up.  The ribbon and flat backed pearls are from my stash.

There is plenty of time for you to enter your monochrome projects into this Challenge.

  1. This is so stylish. I love the dark blue glitter card - don't think I've seen that before. Fabulous! xx

    1. Thank you, I cannot remember where I got the dark blue glitter card from. It is part of a mixed colour pad, some of them a really lush.

Thank you for visiting my blog, I look forward to reading your feedback on my work. I hope you will visit again.
