I had planned to go to a craft fair at Olympia this weekend but instead I am stuck at home with a nasty cough and cold - so I thought I would catch up on my posting. I hope that you are able to make good use of your weekend.
I bought this House-Mouse stamp three or four weeks ago intending to use it for the Crafty Boots Challenge "Food, Glorious Food", but I didn't finish my card in time. However, all is not lost, I am able to use it for the current challenge "All That Glitters ...." because I used my Wink of Stella pens on the frosting and the little marzipan balls in the corner and made it all sparkly.
I also used my Flexmarkers and Promarkers to colour the stamp and I added some Glossy Accents to the candle. The matching papers and sentiment came from the House-Mouse Inserts CD.
The large butterfly die is a Marianne Creatable and the small butterflies are by Spellbinder. The gorgeous flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the ribbon and gems are from my stash.
Most of the cards I make tend to have something shiny, shimmering, sparkly or glittered on them but if you are looking for the cards I specifically made for the Crafty Boots "All that Glitters ....." challenge, they are as follows:
- Golden Dandelions (click here)
- Golden Heart (click here)
- Silver Wedding Anniversary (click here)
- Glittered Dandelion (click here)
- Spring Bringer (click here)
- Happy Birthday Leighanne (click here)
- Have a Fun Birthday (click here)
There is still time to enter this challenge, so happy crafting and good luck.

Hi Dee
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear about your cold and not being able to go to a craft fair. My hubby has caught some kind of flu or whatever it is this week as well. Hope you are feeling better soon. Love your b-day card. Very sweet, just enough to eat.
