Welcome

Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.

I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!

Thank you for visiting my blog.

Chicky Pip

Hi

Another lovely day here, you can certainly feel spring all around at the moment.

I seem to be easily distracted this week and have not done as well as I would have liked with my Easter cards. However, I have finished another one, which I wanted to show you.

Sugar Nellie's Home Grown range have issued several new digital Sherbet Pip stamps, this one is called Chicky Pip.

As you can see, I decided to make this image into a circle easel card.  After colouring the stamp with my Promarkers, I mounted it onto Craftwork Cards Ice Cream Parlour Scallop Doillies and added flat backed gems from Kanban Crafts and Card Candi, also from Craftwork Cards.  The additional paper is by DoveCraft.

The Deluxe Crafter Card that I printed the digi stamp onto, and all of the Craftwork Card supplies, came from the Crafty Boots on-line store.

I hope to have some more Easter cards posted by the end of the week.

  1. Hi Dee,
Another fantastically sunny day over here too.
Loving your card for more than one reason, I have got the Craftwork Cards Ice Cream Parlour Scallop Doilies but never new how to really make a good use of them or even how it was called!
Looking forward to more of your Easter cards.
