Welcome

Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.

I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!

Thank you for visiting my blog.

Ten Green Bottles

A day or two ago I mentioned that a friend had sent me a pack of stamped images of bottles and glasses.   Today I had my first opportunity to use some of them on this birthday card.

The backing papers and sentiment were from a mix from old Kanban Craft and Hunkydory kits.  I coloured the wine bottle and glasses with Promarkers and I added Glossy Accents to the glasses. I then mounted the glasses and the bottle on 3D foam pads.

I am afraid my photographic skills have not improve.

    1. Many thanks Carol. It has been a long time since I have done any colouring and I was worried that my Promarkers may have dried out but, by and large, they were fine. Just a few need replacing.

    1. I also rather liked those little bottles and glasses backing papers but, sadly, they are all gone now. But they did make good cards for the guys!
