Welcome

Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.

I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!

Thank you for visiting my blog.

Never a Rainy Day

As you probably know, I have a problem with my printer, therefore I am having to resort to pre-coloured images from the countless old kits I have been saving for a rainy day.

Never a rainy day with this kit from Hunkydory Crafts, all of the images are so cute and I love the matching papers.  The mirri card, sentiment and Card Candy are from my stash.

I hope that there is not a cloud on your horizon.

    1. Thank you Carol, I do miss the printer and the chance to use my Promarkers. However, you would not believe how many of these packs of matching toppers and backing papers I have stashed upstairs, they could keep me busy for years and it would be good to reclaim the space, my husband does occasionally complain about my craft stuff spreading out into three rooms now and my sister reminds me from time to time that they are a fire hazard. Lol.

      Have a great day.

  2. Foxes rank up there with geese in my list of things I'm not keen on. They seem to be getting bolder by the minute - I often encounter them on my way to and from the bus stop and they frequently appear on our road and in our garden. However, this one looks as if he might be okay! Love the cloud backing paper with the umbrella image and those strips (not sure if it's ribbon or card) across the corners are a great idea and done so perfectly. xxx

    1. Thank you Lisette, for all of your comments. The strips across the corners are card, one of the many matching strips you get in the kit.

We do not see that many foxes here, which I find surprizing. Just thought I would say.
