Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.
I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!
Thank you for visiting my blog.

Thank you so much Carol, you have no idea how much your support means to me. Those tights were so fiddly, at the time I said that I would never do single row stripes again, but ..... you know I will.

I love that you have posted them all together like this. Not only do I get a chance to see them all, but it's nice to be able to compare and see the similarities and the differences. Really love these mice, and the dresses are just darling! I almost spit out my coffee when I saw that last pic of the naked mice. It's mouse p*rn, but then I realized they still have their tights on. LOL
ReplyDeleteI was just getting used to having a Canadian winter this year, when suddenly our temperatures have shot up through the roof. The snow is almost gone! Time to put away the fur lined boots and pull out the galoshes! HAHA!! Hope you are having a great week my friend. sending hugs and wishes :)
Ha ha ha ha, I love you vision of mouse p*rn. Despite the shoes and tights, I do think of them as being undressed without their dresses. I am sure you have worked out that the shoes and tights do not come off.
DeleteI have been making these little animals all year and started making them in fours (one each for my nieces), so there will be more posts like this one.
I am sorry to hear that all of your snow has virtually gone, it did not hang around for long this time but perhaps it will return before the end of winter.
Take care my friend and thank you for visiting.

I just love these little mice in all their different colourways. Their tights are adorable. So glad you shared them all together, it really showcases what a great talent you have. Can't decide which is my favourite.x
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Lisette, you really do say the nicest things and I really appreciate it.
DeleteIt took me a while to get the hang of knitting those tights as I not used circular needles before. It just goes to show that there is still a lot for me learn about knitting.
