The last couple of days it has been very wet here and I suspect that April shows have blown in a few days early. But, if you take a look about, there are plenty of signs that spring has arrived, for example it seems that there are daffodils everywhere. A few years ago a lot of our local councils decided to prettify the roundabouts and verges by planting hundreds of daffodils, they have now multiplied and spread and now their pretty nodding heads are everywhere you go.
Cross Stitch, knitting, crochet, dressmaking, card making, scrapbook and wedding stationery.
Welcome
Hello, my name is Dionne and I have been crafting for a very long time. As a very young child my mother tried to teach me to knit, it was a disaster. However, it must have sparked an interest in making things and, partly to prove that I was not totally useless and partly because I really wanted to make things, I taught myself to crochet. Over the years I have developed a love of cross stitch and all types of paper craft ..... I eventually even taught myself to knit.
I am married to a very understanding man, thank goodness, because I spend all my time either crafting, thinking about crafting or talking about crafting. I am hopeless at housework and dinner is often late!
Thank you for visiting my blog.

Spring is in the Air

So pretty Dionne! Great image and amazing colouring job! Love the green and yellow together, we are in the same zone! lol. I think I would take April showers a little early over the frozen ice storm we had this week, Brrrrrr!! HA! hugs :)
ReplyDeleteYou too, oh dear. It is cold here and windy but other parts of the country are much worse. Other Crafty Boots colleagues have got up to snow and the ravages of Storm Katie.
DeleteThank you. It has been a while since I have used my Sherbet Pip stamps but they will be making appearances over the next week or two as many of then have a spring theme.
Keep warm my friend.

What a great colour combination. I love how you have coloured this image and set it off with the green and gold. Perfect! xx
ReplyDeleteThank you Lisette, I will have to try colouring her in claret
